Bio

Ursula uses her welcoming nature to connect with clients from many different backgrounds. She specializes in work with children, teens and their families. Ursula approaches her work with an empowering and direct approach to provide support, hope, and if needed change. She has worked within many different therapeutic settings from outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse to intensive in home treatment with children and families. Ursula is bilingual in Spanish and English and continually strives to be a culturally competent Professional Counselor.

Ursula is trained in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Wrap Around, and MST and brings some elements of each of these modalities into her practice along with a healthy dose of humor, “woowoo,” and positivity.

Ursula began her professional journey at Southern Oregon University earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish while taking advantage of opportunities that shaped her goals and passions such as studying in Mexico and working with kids in various school settings. Ursula went on to earn her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Connecticut State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

Ursula recently moved back to the best coast, the west coast. and loves exploring the cascade mountains with her trusty dog by her side.
