Ryan Hutchinson

Bio

Ryan has been working in counseling services since 2012 and has worked with a diverse range of providers in the Central Oregon area. Ryan completed his Master’s of Counseling in 2013 through the OSU Cascades Campus Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Ryan’s experiences have ranged from high school settings, juvenile corrections, addiction and recovery services and community health clinics. Ryan enjoys working with adults as well as teenagers and is committed to facilitating the pursuit of health and happiness for client’s seeking services.

Ryan’s theoretical orientation is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but he also likes to draw from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Ryan has also been trained in EMDR I &II and is committed to the practice of EMDR and the benefit that it can have for clients struggling to move through traumatic experiences.

When Ryan is not exploring the relationship between cognitions, emotions and behaviors he enjoys playing and watching soccer, traveling, and surfing.
