Rick Bartlett



Rick recently moved to central Oregon after falling in love with the outdoor activities and sense of community offered. Rick grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska and enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, camping, playing guitar, traveling and spending time with his fiancé and dog.

Rick believes it is a great privilege to work alongside and get to know individuals who are seeking help to improve their lives and grow. Rick’s calm demeanor often allows for individuals new to therapy to feel comfortable in a setting that may be new to them.

Rick began his career helping individuals in 2015 after receiving a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Rick completed his Master’s in Social Work with a focus on mental health in 2019 through the University of Washington Seattle. Rick’s professional experiences have ranged from psychiatric treatment centers, emergency department services, residential settings, youth homeless shelters, transitional living facilities and a medication assisted treatment program for individuals struggling with opioid addiction. Rick has experience and enjoys working with adolescents, young adults and adults.

Rick has a history of working from a trauma informed lens. Rick’s clinical experience includes motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
