Patricia Hernandez

Professional Counselor Associate


Patricia is a committed therapist who has worked with children, families and couples. Her experience includes providing at risk youth with educational and emotional support in elementary, middle school and high school settings.

A native Californian, Patricia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California, Santa Cruz and her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Portland State University in 2017. Since then, Patricia has primarily focused on family and couples therapy. She has trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and uses evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Patricia also incorporates mindfulness, art and narrative therapy to help clients in their journey toward healing.

When not working, Patricia likes to be out in nature, dancing, traveling, exercising and spending time with family.
