Maria Gregg



Maria graduated from Washington State University in 2002 where she started her career as a social worker in child welfare leading to getting her MSW at Eastern Washington University in 2005. After 2 years of working for the State of Washington Department of Human Services she moved to California where she became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2014, working with adolescents, young adults and adults with mental illness, primarily in non -profit settings. Maria is passionate about destigmatizing mental illness and addiction. She desires to facilitate the process of improving one’s relationship with themselves to improve how they relate to others and the world around them. Her clinical modalities are Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. Moving back to the Pacific Northwest has allowed Maria to be close to family and embrace her love of being in the great outdoors, hiking, running long steady distances and in general exploring, for all who wander are not lost.
