Hannah Powell

Hannah is a warm, compassionate, and devoted therapist who believes one of the most valuable components of therapy is a trusting therapeutic relationship. Hannah is committed to creating a nonjudgmental and supportive environment where individuals are met with unconditional positive regard. She is passionate about coming alongside others in their healing journey and holding a safe space for their most vulnerable thoughts, feelings and experiences.

Hannah is licensed in both Oregon and California and graduated with her MSW from the University of Southern California in 2018. Most of her clinical experience is with children, youth and families; however, she enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan. Hannah has experience treating various mental health disorders with a focus on depression, anxiety and trauma. Hannah has also worked with individuals experiencing loss and grief, homelessness, relationship difficulties, foster care, co-occurring disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, complex trauma, and difficulties related to sexual orientation and gender identity expression. Hannah has worked in a variety of settings including adolescent residential treatment, community-based services, juvenile hall, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and schools. She is certified in TF-CBT and MAP and draws from her training in mindfulness, Seeking Safety, IPT, PST, and MI. Hannah also has unique international experience working in Uganda on healing trauma through the creative arts and outdoor recreation, as well as addressing human trafficking in the Philippines.

Hannah is a native Texan, a California transplant, and a recent addition to the Central Oregon community. She appreciates all things outdoors and is excited to spend more time hiking, kayaking, camping, and horseback riding. Hannah also enjoys painting, breakfast tacos, pottery, traveling, and snuggling her two cute, but mischievous cats.
