I believe that through therapy, individuals can reach their goals and discover greater insight, joy, and meaning in their lives. I strive to create an environment where each individual feels supported, understood, and valued, fostering a sense of empathy and trust. Supporting LGBTQIA+ youth is a central focus of my practice. My goal is to empower my clients to feel affirmed in their identity while also helping them cultivate resilience and self-acceptance.
My person-centered approach focuses on truly understanding each individual's unique beliefs, values, goals, and challenges. I use a variety of evidence-based practices and techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness skills.
My educational background includes an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University, an MA in Educational Administration from Concordia University, and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University.
