I previously worked for the Redmond School District in the special education department and loved helping students from the community who needed it the most. As a single mom of the two most beautiful girls, I was looking for a way to care for my daughters while still serving my community. With Brightways, I feel I have found the best of both worlds, and am able to support my girls while still serving my community in a positive way.
I graduated from Lower Columbia Community College in Washington with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting just one week before graduating high school! I have held many different positions both in the field of accounting and outside of it, including a few years in Alaska with co-workers from allover the globe giving me the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of people and situations. These experiences have helped give me the skills to better serve the community around me.
During my free time, I enjoy being with my daughters, knitting and crocheting, spending time with my extended family, working around the house, and being outside as much as possible.
