As an accountant I have learned to blend creativity with my accounting experience. I have encountered many types of businesses and while numbers are a consistent aspect there are also the human interactions that make my job rewarding. I am excited and feel blessed to be a part of such a dynamic team that is dedicated to enriching people’s lives.
Over the course of my 20+ year career I have developed a unique skillset with dealing with numbers and more importantly the people who need guidance as to how these numbers impact their business. I have always approached each businesses finances as if they were my own, giving them my unique mindset and helping the business, and the people, thrive. I am committed to helping business owners feel supported in their future goals, helping them by providing the analytical aspects of accounting as well as problem solving for future planning.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as an associate’s degree in business management. I also hold an Enrolled Agent certification which aided me in my 19-year career of tax preparation. Working in the tax world I encountered many types of personalities and can adapt to the personal aspects of conveying the information needed to make positive decisions for enriching their companies and helping their clients. I strongly believe in a collaborative process and the human aspects that affect decision making. It brings me great satisfaction and sense of accomplishment to support a company’s vision in a positive work environment and help them reach their goals.
