I’m known for my attention to detail and my ability to navigate the complexities of insurance follow-up, claims processing, and patient account management.
Prior to moving to Central Oregon, I worked in Business Services at Bay Area Hospital for 28 ½ years starting as a file clerk and then moving up and working as a file clerk, cashier, research clerk, Insurance biller and follow-up and credit balance reporting and resolution. After moving to Central Oregon, I was hired as the office manager for Redmond Speech & Language covering all the aspects of the office from receptionist, insurance verification and prior authorizations, biller, payment posting, account reconciliation along with general office management. I have also served as an account manager for a third party billing vender servicing 5 speech language clinics from Maryland to Texas.
I am a Native Oregonian, having moved from the South Coast to Central Oregon 10 years ago. I live in a beautiful state, and I enjoy traveling and exploring to experience all Oregon has to offer. My husband and I have 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren, 1 very spoiled Staffordshire. When I’m not working enjoy camping, hiking, exploring, travel, arts and crafts, gardening, spending time with family and friends.
