My passion is to work alongside individuals as they create goals, heal from past traumas, and create new patterns that are more helpful for their lives. I think it is a great privilege to get to know individuals and help them with what may have brought them to therapy. I strive to normalize the therapy experience for anyone who is new to seeking services and help them become comfortable with the healing experience.

I work with individuals from a nonjudgmental, trauma informed lens and an understanding that we all come from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life. I have been trained in a number of therapy modalities to help clients including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Approach, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. My professional experiences have ranged from psychiatric treatment centers, emergency department services, residential settings, youth homeless shelters, transitional living facility and medication assisted treatment programs. I have experience and enjoy working with adults, young adults, and adolescents.

My education background includes a Masters in Social work from the University of Washington Seattle. I have a BA in social work from the University of Alaska Fairbanks which is also where I was born and raised. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog Lucas. I also enjoy snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, playing guitar, camping, and movies.
