Thanks for taking a look at my profile and seeing what I can offer you! My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their challenges, develop coping mechanisms, and ultimately achieve greater self-awareness and personal growth, empowering them to navigate life's complexities with resilience and purpose.
I have over 17 years of behavioral health experience in multiple facets; Military & First Responders, general mental health, geriatric services, functional nutrition, end of life/grief and women's issues. My style is laid back, humorous, and solution focused. I don't believe in sugar coating and will be transparent/authentic with you no matter what. My goal is to meet you where you are at, have your goals as our primary focus and support you towards reaching them. When working with trauma clients, sometimes I will pull you back if I feel it is clinically necessary as I won't allow re traumatization. I enjoy identifying 1-3 goals in our initial session and focus on data/outcome to see how you as the client continue to progress/digress towards your goals. If needed, we will shift our current plan to meet you where you are at and with what you are needing.
I have completed two master's degrees, one in Professional Counseling and the other in Military Social work, as well as a plethora of certifications in the medical/health field. I currently hold an active Professional Counselor license in both Arizona and Oregon. I am certified with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NCC) and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
