I believe that healthcare should be accessible to everyone, and so I work hard as a Patient Scheduler to be the friendly face ready to usher those scared by the daunting healthcare system to get the help they need. With three years in both scheduling and care coordination, I’m very excited to continue learning all there is about different specialty care such as mental health.
My biggest hope is to help people who would easily be discouraged to seek treatment and get them the appropriate care to show them that they have a support system in their greatest times of need and uncertainty. I am a very curious person who eagerly researches anything and everything that interests me, helping me gain and share knowledge to those around me. I apply this to my everyday work life as knowledge is the biggest tool that we have to guide others when they have many questions they worried won’t get answered.
Outside my role, I am an avid collector of toys and other antique trinkets. Don’t be surprised if you hear me talking about how cool Ken dolls or animatronic storytelling toys from the 80’s are! I love to learn about people’s special interests as I believe that all sparks of imagination come from the embers of excitement. Stoking those embers each one of us has to watch the passion grow into a hearty flame is my main motivation in life! ‘Unlikely adventures requires unlikely tools.’ – Edward Magorium
