The decision to pursue therapy can be a difficult one, whether this is your first time, or you have had other experiences in the past. I aim to create an environment that feels welcoming, safe, and promotes healing and recovery. I highly value the therapeutic relationship, and believe it is central to the process for symptom improvement and change. I am passionate about working with adults through the lifespan towards this end.
I enjoy working with individuals who present with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, challenges with self-worth and self-esteem, and those who identify as feeling “stuck”. I tailor my interventions to each client and their goals, and approach therapy through a person-centered and strengths-based lens. I have been trained in EMDR, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, and have experience utilizing Solution-Focused Therapy.
I graduated from Pacific University with my Master of Social Work in 2016 and have been licensed as an LCSW through the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers since January 2020. Prior to this I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon.
