Life has its ups and downs and seeking connections and support from others can be a big help when life gets rough. Trauma, depression, anxiety and life stressors can become difficult to cope with alone. Reaching out to others for support can be so helpful. I believe that everyone has strengths and can move towards health and wellness. Making positive changes can be hard and rewarding work to do. One of my passions is to support others on their journey, navigating life stressors and creating a safe place to explore thoughts, beliefs and behaviors. I enjoy helping clients utilize their inherent strengths and building a foundation of growth from there. I meet clients where they are at and work collaboratively toward goals for overall wellbeing.
I utilize modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT). I work with ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress and offer support to LGBTQIA individuals as well as the disability and chronic illness community.
I attended OSU Cascades Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and graduated in 2012. I have been licensed with the State of Oregon since2018. I have an extensive background in community mental health, working with abroad range of issues, backgrounds and life circumstances. I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in German Language and Literature from Oregon State University as well.
