I enjoy the ever-changing nature of insurance which allows each day to bring on new challenges. With the frequency in which insurance changes, I am glad I can be the person to stay up with these changes. I take pride in being an advocate for clients. My goal is to take the pressure off clients and navigate insurance for them.
I started in the medical field as a front desk scheduler, then as an insurance verification specialist and worked my way into a billing role within one year. My approach has been to understand every aspect of the process. In knowing the process, I am more equipped to make decisions on how to proceed for the client and the company.
I graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a minor in economics. My billing background includes outpatient physical therapy and chiropractic billing. I have a large scope of insurances I have worked with and taken payer specific seminars to stay knowledgeable. In the ever-changing world of billing, learning is a constant.
