The journey through life takes a lot of twists and turns; sometimes we end up in a place that we do not want to be. You might be sitting in a place of depression or anxiety, maybe substance abuse has overtaken your life, or maybe you are struggling to be your best because of low self-esteem or anger problems. Whatever the struggle is, I look forward to joining you where you are and helping you to find your way to the life that you want to live.

I believe that the relationship that we build together will be a key factor in your therapy experience. I meet all my clients with warmth and compassion in a non-judgmental atmosphere. I will help you to explore areas of your life that have been holding you back and will tailor my approach to what feels best to you. I use evidence-based therapy approaches, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and can approach therapy from either a secular or Christian perspective. My goal is to help you gain new skills to move you forward in a more positive direction.

My educational background includes an M.A. in Counseling and Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas.  I have a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston, and a certification in Integrative Mental Health. I have extensive experience providing care to adults ages 18 to 80.
