Life rarely takes us on a journey free of hardship and struggle. We all go through our own unique and individual difficulties. What I believe to be true is that regardless of our differences, the pain we have demands to be felt. As a clinician my greatest passion is helping people who have been through traumatic or stressful experiences find healing. I work with individuals or families collaboratively to find their ideal path forward. My goal is to meet my clients where they are at, providing compassion, curiosity and openness.

The approaches I use vary depending on the specific needs of each individual client; however, I believe in the value of the client-therapist relationship and continually work to establish and maintain a strong foundation of safety, trust and respect. Some of the evidenced based practices I am trained in include Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Comprehensive Behavioral Interventions for Tics (CBIT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have experience in treating a variety of mental health concerns in the outpatient setting. My clinical experience includes supporting youth and families in the foster care system, trauma recovery, medically complex youth, tics and Tourette's, as well as developmental differences. I additionally have experience working in in-patient residential mental health in various roles.

My educational background includes a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (MS) from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BS) from the University of Oregon. I am currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both Oregon and Washington State.
