Life can be challenging for us all at times, whether from past traumas or current life stressors. During those times, it can be difficult to find one’s way, gain perspective, and insight as to what we want or need to change to find more peace and happiness in our lives. I hold the belief that we all have the answers to the questions we ask, often we are simply lost in the dark; thus, I will help you explore the hardships and struggles that you may have been through until you are ready to turn the light on for yourself. I will hold a compassionate and caring space for you while you navigate through the struggles, offering support and an extended hand should you stumble.

I approach my work with clients from a place of non-judgment and the here and now, to help clients see how experiences from one’s past can inform one’s present-day experiences. I draw upon a variety of therapeutic modalities in my work with clients, including Gestalt Therapy, Transpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and have extensive training in working with trauma and adoption. I am certified in the neuro-therapy modality of Brainspotting for working with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, messages of shame, dysfunctional family systems and dynamics, and a variety of other mental health struggles.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I have a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Southern Illinois University and have been trained and certified in Brainspotting.
