In everything I do, I believe in breaking down barriers and getting help to the community now. My passion is to be helpful to others and to be effective in the process. My goal is to create healing environments where people working are not only effective and well trained but also fueled by the support, training, and encouragement they receive.
My approach is to view all people through a trauma informed lens and keep in mind that many of us are wounded healers while helping others with hurts and pains.
By being approved by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers along with being an adjunct professor at Portland State University, I am able to provide supervision and training for future therapists working towards licensure. These avenues have allowed me to see my goal come to fruition by opening Brightways Counseling Group in Central Oregon and Woodburn, creating healing environments with dedicated, determined, and purposeful therapists and support staff.
