I believe everyone deserves to have that "ah ha!" moment in life where everything clicks into place for them and they are able to make lasting changes to their lives. Whether that is connecting what creates anxiety or resolving childhood trauma, working on communication skills or building healthy boundaries, or everything else in between, my goal as a therapist is to help my clients thrive mentally and emotionally.

I typically view presenting concerns through an attachment-based, client focused lens, which leads me to see my client as a whole person with an intricate life of experiences that are unique to each person. Together we will both isolate issues and tackle multiple issues at once with various perspectives and approaches to resolve things in the short term and long term.

I received my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oklahoma State University, and then my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana State University. My coursework covered topics including professional counseling ethics, family dynamics, human development across the lifespan, diagnostic criteria, community mental health, trauma-informed practices, and therapeutic theories. Since school I have attended formal trainings in Trust-Based Relationship Inventory (TBRI), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Theraplay, and Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
