People sometimes minimize their traumas, believing that their experiences aren’t as severe as the tragedies we see in the news every day.  I believe this causes people to mistakenly believe that their trauma isn’t relevant when that couldn’t be further from the truth.  If your experiences and memories are interfering with your life, therapy can help you recover and live your best life.

I combine therapeutic modalities to address my clients’ unique needs. Depending on the individual, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and/or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I strive to create a safe, yet candid environment where clients can express themselves freely. Honest communication is essential to the therapeutic process and clients’ recovery.  I understand that trust is not built immediately and will always strive to earn the trust of those I see through by actions.

I’ve been practicing therapy for over 14 years. I earned my master’s degree in professional counseling at Liberty University in 2011 and obtained my State License in 2016.  I have practiced Therapy in Pittsburgh and Las Vegas and now call Portland my home.
