I have a passion for helping children and young people learn to care for their mental health and heal from past traumas. Caring for your mental health often requires skills and knowledge that are not intuitive and therefore must be taught. In my practice, I utilize my skills and knowledge to provide mental health support in a compassionate and nonjudgemental manner. I consider my work with clients to be collaborative, which means that I work with my clients to help them achieve their self-identified goals and improve their overall wellbeing. Furthermore, I recognize the importance of both acknowledging and addressing the impact that trauma has had on my clients. I make sure to prioritize my clients’ trauma recovery while ensuring they feel safe during their most vulnerable moments.
I have experience providing mental health care to ages 0-25 years old and treating a range of mental health conditions and symptoms including anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, OCD, ADHD, anger and substance use. My clinical approach combines several evidence-based modalities that I have found beneficial to my clients such as Attachment-Based Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My work is also guided by principles of Systems Theory, Harm Reduction, and Anti-Racism. The approach I take with each client is always unique to their needs, strengths and goals.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a Master of Social Work degree in 2023 and I also earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Washington in 2020. I am currently licensed as a Clinical Social Work Associate in Oregon.
