Caregivers are the experts of their children and my approach to therapy is to help support each family’s individual needs to provide a unique therapeutic experience that is tailored to them, to help foster progress, and growth for their short term, and long-term goals. I am passionate about working from a holistic approach to support healing across multiple areas of life including emotional, physical, spiritual, and social. I believe children are resilient, unique, and capable of positive self-direction. I provide unconditional positive regard and empathic understanding to help improve communication patterns, highlighting positives, along with supporting processing emotions, identifying areas of growth within the family unit, and developing coping skills.

I have experience with children of all ages, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. I specialize in working with children ages 0-5. I have experience with working with and supporting marginalized communities and I have experience with working with families who have been affected by substances and alcohol abuse. I utilize a variety of modalities to assist in providing individual care which includes, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, Attachment Theory, Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with being trauma informed.

My educational background includes a Master in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy, with an educational background in Early Childhood Education and Development. Some of my previous work experience was working for Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health for 5.5 years supporting children and families. I enjoy helping children and families find their happiness, while helping them find their smiles, and supporting them to find comfort when they can, to promote overall wellness.
