I am passionate about developing strong relationships with my clients and believe that this is paramount to any therapeutic work. I believe that recovery is more than possible for everyone and derive meaning from my work with individuals by being able to play a small part in this change process. Previous clients have expressed liking my casual and personable style to therapy. I enjoy spending time hiking and running and catching a Portland Trailblazers game whenever possible.  My cat, Khaleesi, and my partner also play a fundamental role in my self-care.

In my clinical experience I have cemented my knowledge of the importance of person-centered care and the innate positive potential within everyone. Throughout my practice I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I am experienced in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care and I am an EMDR-trained therapist. I also have worked professionally within the context of substance use/addiction treatment.

I gained experience working within community mental health clinics in both Buffalo, New York, as well as in Salt Lake City, Utah. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University at Buffalo, in Buffalo, New York.
