When difficult emotions and experiences interfere with our ability to enjoy life, it can be hard to figure out what to do. I believe that we all need supportive relationships to thrive and that significant growth and healing can occur when vulnerability is met with empathy and understanding. I am passionate about walking alongside children, adolescents, parents and young adults as they recognize their unique strengths, heal from past trauma, and restructure unhelpful patterns that have developed in their lives.

I have experience assisting clients with a variety of mental health concerns, with a focus on anxiety and trauma. My clinical experience includes intensive in-home child and family therapy, therapy for youth and families in crisis and following emergency department stays, and outpatient therapy with high school students through a school-based health center. I also have social work experience in a middle school, youth homeless shelter and boys group home. I work with individuals from all walks of life. My approach is individualized, client-centered, and involves meeting people where they are at.  I utilize my experience and training in CBT, exposure, TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, DBT, EMDR, play therapy, mindfulness and collaborative problem solving in my clinical work.

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in anthropology and went on to complete a Master of Social Work with a concentration in children, youth, and families at the University of Washington. At UW, I was a selected member of the Northwest Leaders in Behavioral Health program where I refined my clinical skills, cultural humility, and knowledge working with diverse and rural populations. I am currently a Clinical Social Work Associate in Oregon.
