My path to becoming a counselor was shaped by my own experience as a counseling client, where I discovered the transformative potential of therapy. This experience deepened my belief in the power of healing through connection, and inspired me to support others in finding their own paths toward growth. I believe that healing happens in relationships—while interventions are important, it is the therapeutic bond that makes meaningful change possible. I also believe that being open to and present with our emotions and experiences—especially the uncomfortable ones—is a vital part of growth. My goal is to empower clients to trust their inner wisdom, take an active role in their healing, and leave therapy feeling that they’ve grown, accomplished their goals, and discovered the power to create lives that feel satisfying and meaningful.

I work collaboratively with my clients, as I believe they are the experts in their own lives. Using mainly acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), I focus on helping clients accept thoughts and feelings without judgment while becoming present and engaged in creating a rich and meaningful life. In sessions, this might involve practicing mindfulness, noticing thoughts and emotions, clarifying values, or setting meaningful goals. I specialize in individual counseling for teens (14+) and adults, often those navigating depression, anxiety, low self-worth, trauma, or neurodivergence. I am affirming of LGBTQ+ identities, neurodivergence, people from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, and other marginalized identities, and I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for all individuals.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I earned a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University, and a bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology from University of Oregon. I participate in ongoing additional training in acceptance and commitment therapy.
