I am passionate about medical billing as it combines attention to detail and problem solving. As codes change, we navigate to stay updated on policies, regulations and requirements. My goal is to become an expert in medical billing to reduce errors and delays to help relieve stress off the patients so they can focus on themselves.
My approach to behavioral billing is understanding both fields of medical and mental health. Being able to advocate for Brightways patients is my priority. Understanding the insurance process can be overwhelming. I joined this team to let the patients know we have got this and are here to help.
I graduated from Carrington College where I received a certificate for Billing and Coding, my billing background includes Urgent Care, Family Practice, Behavioral Health and Insurance collections. Outside of my role, my partner and I have 3 amazing boys, we love to take trips on our motorcycle, build furniture and most importantly spend time with the family.
