My focus is on you and where you are in your own personal journey. My passion is to help rebuild lives that have been negatively impacted by depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress. I assist clients, who include children and adults aged 6 to 60 years of age, to find stability and peace in their lives by providing support, understanding, and a safe place to be you.
My medication management approach is conservative and carefully individualized to you. I have over 5 years of independent practice experience as a prescribing Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner(APRN-Rx), over a decade as a Registered Nurse (RN), and nearly 20 years working or being in educated in the psychological sciences and healthcare fields.
My educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University, dual master’s degrees, a Master of Education in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Hawaii-Manoa, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana. I hold dual Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Nursing from Indiana University and one in Psychology from the University of Florida, and an Associate of Science degree in Marketing from Hawaii Pacific University. Lastly, I completed a nurse practitioner residency program at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center on the island of O’ahu in the state of Hawai’i.
