I approach therapy from a client centered, insight oriented and attachment-base lens. I provide support to individuals, children, and families who are trying to overcome challenges in their lives. Whether it be an individual trying to overcome depression, anxiety, or a traumatic event; a parent needing support is understanding their child's behavior; a teen or young adult dealing with the difficulties of life transitions or destructive behaviors. I have extensive clinical training and years of experience to provide both support, as well as clinically effective solutions to help you achieve the goals you would like to achieve in therapy.
I work towards providing a safe environment to explore the ways in which trauma, anxiety, and depression has affected the individual's life, and finding solutions for healing and to move forward in life.
I have training in multiple modalities ranging from Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT TF-CBT, EMDR, Attachment Based Therapy, Play Therapy, Families, and Couples.
My educational background includes a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Northridge. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California Lutheran University. I have extensive clinical experience working in community mental health agencies serving individuals with general mental health concerns, trauma, abuse and neglect, domestic violence, foster and adopted youth, and families with open court cases.
