Individuals are faced with unique experiences throughout life and at times, our experiences may overbear our processing abilities. As humans, we have the right to happiness and the capabilities to reach an optimum state of well-being. My passion is to help individuals get to this state and grow in the process.
My approach integrates a variety of theories, adapting to the client's needs and beliefs. I have been trained in using CPT to aid in trauma processing and I also find existentialism, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and person-centered helps clients guide the session and their way back to examining their values and realign in their truth. I have specialized in eating disorders and co-occurring disorders (anxiety, depression, grief/loss, OCD, PTSD/trauma) for the past 5 years in higher levels of care.
I hold a Masters degree from a CACREP approved Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Bushnell University and hold an LPC license with the Oregon Board. I am also an approved supervisor with the Oregon Board and am able to supervise registered interns pursuing their LPC and LMFT.
